I live in England and no, I am not really that concerned. There is no real need to be, we all should be aware of the situation but there is no need for panic. I haven't changed my life in anyway at all.

maryland- not too much there were only like 6 suspected cases here. i plan on taking minor precautions like washing my hands, using hand sanitizer and trying not to get to close to anyone sneezing or coughing. my brother and sister-in-law aren't to worried either they actually went to mexico the other day for their anniversary.
Hong Kong flu, avian flu,. swine flu, its always going to be something. Simple good health practices(hand washing, is number 1) and taking care of ones self will go a long way toward avoiding it. That and if you get sick, you get sick. I have too many things to do with my life to worry about something that may or may not happen. Worrying doesn't change the outcome anyway so why bother.

I'm not worried at all. People need to get a fncking grip of themselves. I don't know anyone who died from SARS, Avian Flu, Mad Cow Disease, Black Death or anything like that. Do you?
The only way it's affected me, is that friends of mine who work for local health authorities are getting about three times as much work to do because of the media blowing everything out of proportion, as usual.
They've had people contacting them, asking if they might be infected because they've eaten pork in the last few weeks. That's how stupid some people are.
'Is my life changing because of this?'. Hardly. The people who will really be affected by this, are those who are desperately poor, can't get to clean water and have no source of medication. Not people sitting around on Yahoo Answers all night.
