I'm reading 'Wild Swans' at the moment by Jung Chang and its very good (and eye opening!). Read 'Shogun' by James Clavell before that - awesome and involving read. Before that 'The Good Earth' By Pearl.S.Buck - a life changing read for me, and for anyone who has more than enough but doesn't realise how fortunate they are. What books have changed your life?

It will be %26quot;The Colors of the Mountains%26quot; and the sequel %26quot;The Sounds of the River%26quot; both by Da Chen, a born Chinese from China whom left his country to pursue his dream in America and he is now a professor teaching language in university. His hardship life in his own country and the courage and faith he took to break away from his poor environment made me want to follow his footsteps in achieving my own goals and dreams. Just like the quote by Mary McLeod Bethune; %26quot;Without faith, nothing is possible, with it, nothing is impossible.%26quot;

1984 by George Orwell, It's amazing
the book of books,holy bible.
the bible has changed my life.
Shattered Chain by Marion Zimmer Bradley changed my life. I was going through a divorce and it made me see things differently. I saw that I was treating male friends differently than female friends. I changed that behavior and found a wonderful second husband after I got my head on straight.
Ever since I've read the Bible, my life has been nothing but great luck. I have gotten everything that I have ever needed and havent had to worry about anything because God has taken all of my worries away! Sounds corny huh? It's so true though! Read the Bible and you will belive also!
%26quot;Cold mountain%26quot; by Charles Frazier (ISBN 0871136791) is splendid, and beautifully written. %26quot;Stone garden and other stories%26quot; by Alan Spence (ISBN 1897580630) is a wonderful collection of short stories which will give you much to ponder.
Magic's Pawn by Mercedes Lackey saved my life. Just because you lost the main love of your life doesn't mean that there isn't any other love in your life.
