How did religion change your life?

With every word you are, every prayer you offer.. a day you fast.. charity you give.. in general or specific .. how did religion change your life?
How did religion change your life?
Asalaam alikum

It gives everything meaning.

Like giving charity,it helps people and it makes you feel good that there is God watching over you,and pleased with you.

It gives us something to work for before death,so we can meet Allah and see his face may he be exalted looking pleasently at us.
How did religion change your life?
you mean how didnt it change out lifes, IT IS THE BEST THING IN MY LIFE

you noe what i mean
Knowing that if I die, I can stand before God, and say with a clean heart (insha'allaah), O God, I did what I could to find out how best to worship you, and I found that was in pure Islaam, so I accepted it...Amidst many shortcomings and sins, I tried in some small way so accept my effort and overlook my faults.

OTHERWISE, it will be %26quot;O God, I knew the truth, yet I didn't even submit to the bare minimum...%26quot; %26lt;%26lt;%26lt;--this person will definitely go to Hell forever..REGARDLESS OF THE EXCUSE..and o yes, he may present ransom of earth filled with gold and the best of excuses...but God can't be bought like some shaykhs can be.
~Religion helped me find my goal and purpose in life.. it brought me peace in me and i hope everybody too find peace and tranquility by worshipping god the almighty alone.

It sounded nice when in your questioned you mentioned the most of the five fundamentals of islam.

which is to :

1) Shahadah - To believe and accept there is no deity of worship other than God and muhammad is his last and final messenger.

2) Prayer - To pray the five obligatory prayer

3) Fast - To fast in the holy month of ramadan

4) Zakat - To give the obligatory charity to the poor and needy

5) Hajj - To perform the haj (the pilgrimage to makkah) at-least once in your lifetime if you are able to do so..
Religion makes anyone a better person
Knowing theres some place better when we die and its up to us, it makes me think about every action I do rather than just living life blindly. The world must be such a confusing place for someone that does not believe. I'm so glad I was born into a muslim family and I didn't have to face the struggles some converters did. Religion is everything to me :)
As-salamu alaykum =)

Lets say a week ago I was a brat who DID NT PRAY for God because,

my arch enemy and yours to whispered evil things to me. (I think you know what I'm talking about)

%26quot;He defeated me without me even putting up a fight%26quot;

And I don't know suddenly I wanted to change because to be honest, without my religion I was nothing!

I started to pray and became good. I became a better person. My friends even saw me change and wondered why I was being nice all the time. Also, when people say bad things about me, I don't care as they have no right to judge me except god.

when giving charity, praying and fasting I feel like I did a good deed and the feelings that you get, it's just impossible to describe.

I love my religion I love Islam =) %26lt;3
I feel my faith in good getting stronger. I know there's a spirit who watches over me and those I care about, and that gives me comfort.
