How has the internet changed your life? How do you use the internet? Or, has it had not impact on you?

Perhaps you now shop differently; maybe you shop online instead of driving to the mall. If so, what sites do you use to shop? What do you buy? Do you socialize differently because of the internet, for example, do you now email more frequently than phone a friend? Do you use e-greeting cards? Have you stopped using dictionaries and encyclopediae because you now prefer to search for information online. Imagine what your great-great grandparents would think of this world if they suddenly came back to life! Then, it opens up the whole idea of how will communication change over the next century. Tell me your thoughts on this subject!

The Internet has been helpful to find old friends.

Email is convenient to keep in touch with family out of state and share photos regularly.

Shopping is easier, faster and much easier to compare prices.

Keeping up with the headlines is much easier... without even trying.

through the internet, i can easily stay in touch with my friends and relatives. oh and internet made life cheaper. although it is a crime, i download the songs and tv shows that i love :) what's more, the internet is the biggest library. information is available in a click or two.
The Internet has changed my life. But not in any drastic way. Email is more popular to contact people regarding jobs, and to search for jobs. You can read the paper on-line now instead of paying 50 cents a day and 1 dollar and 50 cents on Sunday. Yea you can shop on-line, but I never had positive experiences. Always returning something, waiting longer to get it when it should have been right the first time. Email is cool for friends. and used at work alot. I like to use Yahoo answers at work to keep my mind on something, instead of waiting for something to happen. I do not have Internet at home and I am thankful. Internet can be bad sometimes too, my ex who I still think is a pedophile was able to access all sorts of porn sites, groups made up of porn download porn. I don't know it creaped me out and I watched him slowly become more of a hermit, more violent over his computer until it was out of control. If people utilize the Internet properly it can be a good tool. Otherwise it can be a life wrecking experience. Which is sad, but some people have no control.
I would have never become financially independent with out the Internet.
